Some update on backpack....






I perfer to make this modification, what is ur opinion?

                                                                                                                                                                                                       

Concept Art & Expected Outcome:

Using the COREWORK FA-78-3 body (no need to fine-tune the body detail)
Major modification:
Using S-Gundam back packs, the 2 wings & shoulder cannon

ELEMENT 1: COREWORK FA-78-3
-so the big gun can be modified as shoulder cannon


New G one is base on this concept, but the detail is over IMO; & 1:72 is not my cup of tea (so just for reference only)

Element 2: back packs from Ex S & the radar on right shoulder
haha, size comfirmed OK for 1:100 stuff :)





Element 3: Color scheme & Decal style reference  






my preferred reference (old G-kit by Japanese modeler: 3-bad-guy)

haha...I started off this one as well...I have some more info for your input. let me post it out for you once i return back to HK tonight or tomorrow.

oh really!?  Waiting for ur invaluable info!  so I might stop this project & look for your great conversion kit la; coz, u know, it will be too costly for prof. modeler for making such modification :)

not 2.0...i don't really go for the ultra posable thing and remember I don't want to risk myself with the copyright issue and make a conplete gundam head in the conversion kit. I am using ver ka. so it save me from making the head.

realese date isn't sure yet but I am going to make further adjustment like larger shoulders and feet...etc. you should continue with your project haha. I will be getting slow on release new product after june 2009.

so this will be after June 2009?

炮身, 尾翼, 雷達全部皆有可動性; 造型上已大致完成.  , 到最後修飾階段.. 之後準備上色.
                                       

Actually the problem is the boosters...it too small with all those bulky equipments. it's ok to go more drastic with sentinel FA.

OIC, u prefer it is the true 1:100 size? (btw, u may know this exisitng one is from 1:144 GFF S-gundam... )

may be the preception of 隠し砦の三悪人's first ver FA Setinel imposed influence on us, according the the sketch of Katoki, the boosters are not the big IMO...

the re-positioning of the sentinel booster to a higher position is definitely a plus point as it makes the boosters pack look more integrated, but i also agree with got-heart, a larger booster makes it look more aggressive (actually my preconceived overall proportion thing is heavily influenced by deep striker), but if you are going for the concept art look, then a 1:144 one actually works, but then the concept art seems to have a smaller canon and no radar receiver, looks lighter?

edit: the angle of the booster also looks great, it tilts upward more compared to the 3-bad guy, makes it more like deep striker's back pack!

shiting my pants knowing got-heart has got so many secret projects brewing secretly!!!!
edit: note on got-heart's cad, the lines on the calf, can it be grove lines (like the one shown in fix production) instead of embossed? also the full armour outer leg pack is missing?!!! does it also mean that you'll be releaseing full-armour conversion kit later?

For the Got-Heart work, I think he is stick to the Katoki sketch for the embossed calf & no outer leg pack

Thanks for my commission modeler great modification work, the outlook is 100% OK!
Yet, we are in the review of surfacing (the white kit is really bad... what a hardship to them...), painting and decal, coz I want the coloring close the Katoki's draft.

That's what I want to imitate for over 20 years!






should be similar to this feel?  haha, what a coincidence!
