for 車尾燈, since it is all red, i can just paint the inside of the transparent cover.

but for 車頭燈, if the lights are all on the same piece (車頭燈 + 方向燈), but some lights need to be a different color (車頭 = silver, 方向 = orange), do i just paint the clear orange onto the actual light part (not the transparent cover)?  what if the part already has 電鍍?

example: skyline 350gt



in the model kit, the headlight piece has all 3 lights - low beam and high beam (both silver), as well as the blinker (orange).  the piece already comes in metallic silver 電鍍.  do i try to paint a small circle with clear orange inside the light cover, or do i paint over the 電鍍?

you can paint directly on the 電鍍 parts with Acrylic paint (水性油). Acrylic paint will not affect
the electroplated surface.

But airbrush is highly recommeded because the surfaces of electroplated parts are just little bit
slippy to paint with hand brush......
