Good start, DM. You finally made up your mind

I wanted to build 328 at beginning. However, the PE has not released yet. So, I am going for this one first. However, I am still working on the information gathering

I am not sure the CM will have it or not. However, the one from S27 has just released. Since there is a PE included in the model already, the only useful parts are the wipers and brake disk only

I will try to share a little experience about building Multimedia kit this time. This is not a LECTURE (I hate giving people a lecture). But it is just a little sharing. If I have made anything wrong, please feel free to correct me.

Very First Step of Building Multimedia Kit ---- COUNTING PARTS (點件). Unlike, Tamiya or other injection kit, those Multimedia Kit is packed but hands. So, anything could happen.


Since most of the White Metal parts are DIRTY, they have to be CLEANED. There are some METAL BRUSH (鋼絲擦) or METAL SPONGE for cleaning those WHITE METAL PART.

Test Fitting is very important for building Multi Media Kit. In order to assemble parts together, some extra job may be required.


In order to glue parts together, general glue/cement for Plastic/Injection won't work. So, Epoxy or Solder are the solution. However, Epoxy is easier to handle and less dangerous to you and your kit.



For Surface, general surfacer for Injection kit is not recommended. So, Metal Primer or Surfacer for Auto(car) are good choices

即係 soft99既底油比 mr.colur 既mr.surfacer 好??

Soft99 Primer is good for RESIN and Metal kit only. Don't use it for Plastic kit

咁佢 d 油漆 (e.g.藍色 , 銀色  etc)
都一樣唔好用在車身上???
(即使車身面噴左 mr.surfacer 都一樣唔好噴???)

I have no idea on that issue. You may want to do a little experiment on some junk kit. However, I would use FINISHERS color instead of such real car paint

actually is the white metal softer to shape then plastic?
it looks like it is softer and easy to cut or drill..... correct me if i am wrong?

其實唔可以一概而論, 要睇牌子,
Fujimi有架大包圍o既R33, 套包圍都聲稱係白鐵...不過.....丟落地下噹噹聲........
我想郁佢好多次佢.....睇完...又擺番埋.....

This is hard to say. I had some drill bit and thery were working for plastic before. However, they were down when drilling White Metal
