Great work as always.

Excellent paint job, especially by hand.

Maybe it¡¦s just me but the stowages seemed a little oversized¡K

thanks, hand painting not as difficult as people think, especial on AFV.

not sure which stowage you mentioned, maybe the problem is proportion / detailing on 1/72 can't match requirement.

post some images of 1/35 AAV7A1 and real vehicle for your comparison.

Thanks for sharing the pics. They¡¦re simply gorgeous. Now I feel like to work on one in 1/35.

I built a tamiya one in the 1990s¡¦ when I was a kid. These items were very popular as desert storm operation was ended not too long ago.

Now I¡¦ll looking into Hobbyboss kit and try to determine if it worth the efforts¡K.

Thanks again.

Yes ygat, you know your subjects and it¡¦s history.

AAVP7 didn¡¦t receive EAAK upgrade until shortly after the first gulf war.

Tamiya models were extremely expensive in the city I lived in the 1990s¡¦ so I bought the old boxing LVTP7A1 (before the military rename the amphibious vehicles to AAVP), and a F90 type ADS when I visited home during summer holidays. These kits were grail to me at that time. After watching TVs and magazines, i hand painted my Amtrak with XF60. Those were the good days and your build brought up all the good memories.

D ¸É«~, §úï³£¶Q¹L basic kit. They are for a niche market and Hong Kong is a wealthy city so many can afford spending all over on the add on parts. We should be thankful for what we have.

Looking forward to your next AFV project.

Cheers

Amtrak?
i only try train kit once in childhood, but fail to complete it.
after that, i haven't assembly any train kit again,
maybe railway gun / ¦C¨®¯¥, which combined train & AFV will be a good choice.
not easy to find these in HK...

Oops¡Ksorry for not making myself clear.

Amtrak is the nickname of AAVP7, given it¡¦s major role is to transport soldiers to and from battlefield.

Speaking of railgun, my father helped me to build a hasegawa 1/72 Leopold when I was in primary school. And I have never worked on train myself.

nevermind, just because i'm not a big fans of AFV / military stuff, so misunderstand it.

woo, Leopold is a classic railgun, it is so big (~44cm) even in 1/72.
