1943年9月, 英國係"operation source"嘗試孕X craft submarine去擊沉Tripitz. 雖然Tirpitz俾一重重魚雷網保護. 英國仍然成功偷襲. 是次攻擊可以說係重創德國海軍. 因為Tripitz係今次攻擊中船體嚴重受損. 加上德國可用的大形乾塢已經係之前既攻擊中被毀. Tripitz無法完全復修. 令Tripitz係基本既水上維修之後, 僅成為一座水上炮台.

英國x-craft submarine係"operation source"只損失6架x-craft submarine 同15名士兵戰死或被俘.

After a long period of time, my tirpitz have been completed. I used the resin and the extra heavy gloss gel to mold for the sea waer surface. But it seems to be "ok" to mimic for the static water only. May be i need more practice~

The frieghter is the resin kit from Delphis model, the others smaller ship is made by myself according to some references~

Yes, i will join the model show this year~ hope that can get more comments from the others~ ( too many defects or mistake in my model)

其實真係整錯同整爛好多野, 只係睇相睇唔到. 中間差D想放棄, 但係因為唔想爛尾所以堅持左年幾~  但始終有D未盡如意既感覺

之前個水面衰左一次, 結果到而家都乾唔到, 呢個水面已經用左兩盒resin, 兩舊幾水都幾貴~

i used this resin (http://www.eti-usa.com/consum/envtex/envlite.htm)  as the base of the water and then coverd by a extra heavy gloss gel. Both of them can be easily found in common art/stationery shop.

Before i start making of the sea surface, I prepainted the base with some pattern of water. This will help to mimic different tone at the seabed.  The color of the resin can be tailor made by using arcylic color. I made two layers of resin with different color  and then applied the gloss gel as the topping to mimic the wave pattern of water.

The sequence of coloring of the base--> violet --> blue pattern --> skyblue pattern --> light blue pattern --> irregular white line

Resin (water base) --> 1st layer --> blue, clear blue, clear green, clear yellow

Resin (water base) --> 2nd layer --> clear blue, clear green, clear yellow

Topping --> Gloss Gel with wave pattern made by flat-brush

really need to try in other place before u really apply to your model.
