Yes Joe is right about the model.  I changed the Jaguar schwimmwagen to the Tamiya version and add the photo-etch parts to correct the in-accuracy of the Tamiya schwimmy.


what is 香港七八十年代政府宣傳片裡面隻垃圾蟲?  Do you have picture?  I would like to see!

The 迷彩 is actually German Type2 M42 SS Camo Smock Spring Oakleaf.  Like this one:

I AB the 底部 dark yellow mix with green close to the land first.  I then AB the bottom of the schwim drak green to create shadow.  then I AB the rest of the clear resin a lighter green to create a lake feeling.

This Jaguar kit actually have alot of airbubbles on the surface so it is important to fill the airbubble with clear silicone especally on the side.  Clear resin are difficult to cast so you will not easily find a good cast piece.

Please also take note the Tamiya Schwimm does not fit to the base easy.  You have to fill the "water" to make like its in the water.

For ocean, use blue green and add bubbles

From 小弟 understand,  4號 c 型戰車有雪地塗裝. white wash.  4號 c 型戰車好rare ~  I  would go with maybe dark yellow but becareful.  I will find some reference for you.

German AFV is hard to say.  You can never say never.  Important thing is make an educated guess and enjoy what you really want to do with it.

I can not find any reference from my books so I'm asking other people to help me with it.  So far everyone say do a winter white wash.  But if someone find a picture I will post here for you.

小弟 can not find any photo  Ausf C that is not German gray in my book references!

I asked for you on other forums and everyone who replied today said they can not find any color photos either.

Few 模型高手 told me you can see all sorts of Ausf mixed in during 1941 thus a white wash is not out of the question. As vehicles got disabled, many were rebuilt in the field or in factories so you could see a whole mix mash of Ausf Parts on the same tank.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.  If I get more information on this I will post here for you again.

One of my internet friend found this for me.  He is very knowledgable in German AFV (I ask him question all the time ). You can use this as suggestion:




This is the only picture he found.  If you look at  a closely there is a gray-brown camo pattern on it.
