故事背景
於突破點之戰的10年後，人類用以戰勝外星巨獸「怪獸」（Kaiju）的巨型武裝機器人「機甲獵人」（Jaeger）已成為了人類史上最強大的全球防禦力量。當怪獸的威脅再度降臨時，機甲獵人計畫注入了年輕的新血，以對抗強大的怪獸勢力。
具有大規模毀滅能力，來自異世界的巨大怪獸，以及人類為了消滅牠們而打造，由人類駕駛的超巨型機器人之間曾經展開一場在全世界各地進行的殊死戰，但那只是一場規模更大的戰爭的序幕，在《環太平洋2：起義時刻》一片中，怪獸軍團將大舉進攻，向全人類展開一場全面性的終極大戰。
約翰波耶加飾演叛逆青年傑克潘塔考斯特，他曾經是一名極具潛力的機甲獵人駕駛員，他傳奇性的父親為了讓人類贏得勝利，在一場和怪獸之間進行的激烈戰鬥中不幸壯烈犧牲，傑克也因此放棄他的訓練，被捲入充滿犯罪份子的地下世界。但是當一支數量更多、更殘暴、更具毀滅性的怪獸軍團入侵，開始攻擊全世界的各大城市，並且試圖逼迫全人類向牠們臣服之際，與他關係疏離的姐姐森真子（菊地凜子 飾演）正在率領一支新世代的機甲獵人駕駛員準備迎戰，他們全都是在戰爭陰影底下長大的青年，她給了傑克最後一次機會，讓他得以延續他父親的遺志。

Obsidian Fury
Obsidian Fury is presumably among the first next generation Jaegers designed to operate without the assistance of Jaeger pilots.
Obsidian Fury is a Kaiju-Jaeger hybrid created by Shao Industries. Following the reemergence of the Kaiju in 2035, the compromised drone attacks the Pan Pacific Defense Corps in an effort to push the Precursors' continued effort to terraform the earth.
Obsidian Fury is one of several Jaeger drones with technology pioneered by Shao Industries compromised by Newton Geiszler under the influence of the Precursors. A hybrid of machine and Kaiju, Obsidian is controlled by the hivemind used by the Precursors. Like the other drones intended to replace pilot-controlled Jaegers, Obsidian Fury was designed with no Conn-Pod.
Behind its faceplace resides the secondary brain of a Kaiju, which is connected to the electronics of the drone. Obsidian Fury was built with shielding made of Obsidian Chrome. It was additionally armed with weaponry such as the AKM Salvo-Launchers, located on its shoulders, and twin chainsaws infused with plasma. Additionally, Obsidian Fury is armed with signal jammers located on its back, capable of disrupting basic transmissions and communications.

一如標題所說，無敵的性價比！二百魂，到底她是超值還是之前的 Robot Spirit overprice？
說回玩具本身吧！感覺有點 low tech 但本身外型及鑄模倒算細緻。主體的 QC 不俗 (因為有透明視窗，方便檢測)，外型討好！配件只有手掌兩對及 Twin Plasma Chainsaws，故可玩性分數不會很高。另外 Robot Spirit 的可動性不會太差 ，鬆緊度適中，眼部以透明件製作，最大賣點自然是他的價錢吧！
本身機體很多迷團，看著她時令我想起被 Hack 的 EVA 二號機......
