that's just awesome! i've noticed that u only apply weatherings along the edges of the overall shape of the object, but not along the 刻紋 in the middle... is that right?! love to use ur works as references! they're really really great... really neat!

Thanks for your great support first.

Even I don't notice that I just apply weathering effect on the edges.

However, I will check the shadow all the parts together for how harmony they are.  If I won't feel right.  Wash the parts and spray again.

The leg part of this ZZ has been wash by thinner for one time.  Start over again is not funny.....

sounds like alot more work than wot it looks like heh... guess there's no specific "formula" to apply the shadows and weatherings... depends on the model itself i guess...

would you consider using different colours for 滲線 instead of plain black on ur future works? e.g. deep red/ deep brown for the lines on the parts which are red, deep blue for the lines on blue parts etc? i've seen this effect used on some models which works quite well, e.g. GFF uses brown linings sometimes... wonder how it'd turn out if applied along with ur colour theme, cos ur colour themes are generally quite light

oh no worries just a thought

but the disadvantage is that it probably wouldn't be as "solid" as black linings...

消光 surface to 滲線 is always difficult than in the gloss surface. It is because 消光 surface is not smooth, so it could be left some 滲線 paint on the surface.

I suggest you to use a fine thin paint brush to draw the line, avoid excessive paint off the line.
