the prototype looks horrible, partly due to the person who set it there standing in bad posture, partly due to the prototype doesnt follow the sketch by katoki, notice the shine guard looks absolutely horrible with the armour split line looking like it's been cut off, looks nothing like the lines shown in the sketch of katoki!!!, the shoulder angle also look awkward and hence the arm doesnt look strong and same problem with ver.1.0, dangling in mid-air....
I'm not worry about the length of the leg, as long as the proportion is correct, i dont want a daddy long leg sazabi! a bit disappointed with the silhouette though... after more than 10 years, i would have thought ver. 2 is a much more improved version than just some split armour gimmick...
edit:
one of the key element which some GK succesfully depict is the shoulder armour/ torso connection is actually 3 piece (shoulder armour, movable chest and then centre torso) instead of 2 piece (shoulder armour, then chest and centre torso is one piece) like previous MG and this prototype!!! i hope the pao-kak version will be able to slightly seperate the chest away from the main torso, so that it's the semi chest and semi shoulder which is actually following more closely towards the original sketch... sight, i'm too old to buy kit that i need to modify later.... sad
edit4: the above mentioned shoulder and torso relationship, probably best captured by Sazabi FORMANIA, but ofcourse the chest piece is a bit too small, so would expect something in between...
edit 2:
the hands are too freakingly small!!!!!!
edit 3:
the side skirting is off from the shape of katoki's sketch, notice the high arcing curve instead of the prototype's rather flat profile....
edit 5:
would also like to comment on the arms... katoki's sketch clearly show it suppose to "fold" inwards!!! not straight, same problem with MG sazabi ver.1!!!!!
