If you like WWII planes, you should go to the "Museum of Flying" in Santa Monica, but it is now under renovation
San Diego "Midway Museum" is a "must" to see!

haha 2 yrs ago i lived in Santa Monica but i didnt know there is a museum...
for the midway museum i know i will go there sometime in the future....
btw have you heard of "Planes of Fame Museum"?? it is located east of Los Angeles, i went there last year, they have a collection of 150+ planes...it was really great

its in Chino to be exact.....
tho they have a large collection.... their hanger is very small
but the good thing is that they dont have a lot of staff to watch you, so you can actually step over the little fences and touch them
if i remember correctly, about 20 of their planes are air worthy
