Good morning everyone .Do you like to watch nature documentary series? If yes, you may interested in the following film----- Planet Earth .
Planet Earth produced by Alastair Fothergill and co-produced with Discovery Channel and the NHK is association with CBC.It was the first of its kind to be filmed entirely in high definition.
while viewing this film , I found a important point----- That's affect of human activities , which have intensified the greenhouse effect.
The green house effect is a natural phenomenon , in which greenhouse gases act as a blanket to keep the earth warm enough to sustain life. Since industial development increase rapidly .Burning fossil fuels , Deforestation, those release more greenhouse gases, which are worsening the green house effect.
You may ask "how does global warming affect animals?
As the earth gets warmer, the snow and ice cover will melt.It rises sea level and increases the risk of flooding. The climate become hotter and affect the whole ecosystem.
And then how to solve this problem?
government can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by replacing fossil fuel with renewable power resources such as solar power , wind power and HEP. Improving energy efficiency can save the fuel usage. Besides , afforestation can help ease the problem of global warming.
What things we should do?
We should not waste energy , close all the appliance before leaving. Use more mass transit systems. Grow more plants and buy recyclable products.
protect wildlife, protect ourselves , protect our mother planet .
