I would like to ask i put a layer of Grey Primer on the model and when i put White color on top , seems the White Color doesn't really show up. Do i have to put alot of layers may be 5-6 Layers to cover up the Primer ?
I am using Tamiya Arcylic paint.

yes, you are right. You need to spray several layers in order to override the grey tone.....

normally for a light color loke white or yellow, i would use white primer, this will make the color show up much more easier. and it will make light colors (except white) looks fresher. and normally i will do 2-3 layers with tamiya can spray, just becareful and not to spray thick layers and u should be fine

yes! this is another consideration if you want to use white color to cover grey tone. However, it would be better if the white is allowed for dry completely before you apply the second layers... (of course, never spray too thick in one shot)

or you might apply traci's suggestion by covering it with white primer.

However, both of the above methods still get the risk of `too thick'. it depends on your control. It is important that : be `sufficient' but not `over spray'
