I had the old version released at yr 2000. It was about 18,900 YEN. Now, it is 30,000. Most of the people may think this is too expensive while making comparsion with the old one. However, this is a total new kit and its fitting, detail and decal could be the best of MFH ever produced. So, you may take a comparion with the old 98T (actually, the old 98T is almost same as the old version of 97T)



In year 2009, I believe MFH has paid for the licence fee including GOOD YEAR.


For the PE parts from the old 97T, they are very simple.


However, the PE parts for the new version of 97T, it is totally different from the old one. For the total area of PE, it is about 4 times as that of the old one.



For the new 97T version, it is coming with a big size of CF template decal which is not available before.


Metal Tuned Part. Yeah ! There is a Metal Tuned Monocoque included in the old version of 97T. However, it has no detail at all.



Nowaday, MFH has growth up and got more experience in design. They understand that some Metal Tuned parts are just good for showing off CMC technology but not very useful instead. So, they have made a new one in resin and with detail added. It will be very useful for other amended detail.




For the body, the old one was made in White Metal

For the new one, it is done in resin and it is as thin as the white metal one



For the underchasis, it was done in brass sheet with simple shape


For the newly designed underchasis, it is made with PE and some part parts


For the metal tuned part, there were only very few available inside the 97T box


For the new 97T, MFH has changed some old white metal parts into metal tuned such as damper.


For the other white metal parts, the old one was quite simple.


For the new version, it includes many other white metal parts. So, you can imagine the detail level of the new one


In addition, the metal parts are having more detail than before, you can take a closer look on the old and new brake disk. There is no detail on the old one at all.

I got the old version before and I have sold it when I knew the new version is coming. I sold it about 250 US. Fortunely, 好彩賣得快 since the new version is totally different from the old version

去鴨記睇睇, 有d鉗專門夾微細電子零件例如ic之類, 金屬柄, 而尖頭係膠質, 我買左支用過真係穩陣好多, 原因:
1. 膠質有放滑作用
2. 膠質比較軟
好多時夾零件彈走係太用力, 金屬零件同金屬鉗又太滑, 零件容易迫到走位到某處後再被"支"出黎彈開, 膠質頭有少少回彈會緩衝左手指既壓力, 減少零件移位.

但係唔好買全膠身果 D, 用過, 1. 太輕唔好用, 2. 成支膠定唔到位, 按落去好似揸筷子咁個頭交叉左. 金屬柄先可以定到尖頭合埋既正確位置

尋日開盒睇過, 見到果幾包米即刻蓋番埋
